Young people, their families and supporters came together at the GLO Centre in Motherwell to celebrate the achievements of participants in the Young Adult Project.
The celebration event recognised the hard work, determination and progress of 16 young people who have taken part in the project and successfully moved on to positive destinations, including employment, education and training.
A highlight of the celebration was the project's outstanding success rate, with all 16 participants progressing into positive destinations.
Councillor Michael McBride, Convener of Education, Children and Families said: "This event was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the achievements of these young people and the positive impact the Community Learning & Development Young Adult Project is having across North Lanarkshire.
"To see every participant move on to a positive destination is a wonderful achievement and reflects the dedication of the young people themselves, as well as the commitment of the staff and partners who support them. Congratulations to everyone involved in this inspiring project.”
Ten young people secured employment with the council, highlighting the project's role in supporting young people to take meaningful steps towards long-term employment and independence.
Guests heard from participants, friends and family members who shared how the project has made a positive difference to their lives. They spoke about increased confidence, improved wellbeing, stronger relationships and greater involvement in their communities.
