This year’s event, on Saturday 29 November, is funded by the Coatbridge Neighbourhood Board, with support from the council.
Starting at 11am at Cheers, get creative with Christmas arts and crafts – you can design your own bauble to hang on the community Christmas tree.
From 1pm, Santa will be in his grotto ready to hear your Christmas wishes. There’ll also be fun stalls with games and prizes to be won. Enjoy cotton candy, popcorn or toffee apples, kindly provided by M&Ds.
At 2pm, Heart Radio will take over the main stage with live entertainment from local performers and exciting competitions with great prizes.
At 5pm, we’ll switch on the Christmas lights and tree – don’t miss the countdown, we need your voice to help light up the town!
Thanks to the Coatbridge Neighbourhood Board, everything is completely free – all activities are powered by festive cheer.
We’d also love to hear your ideas for improving Main Street, which is one of the top priorities identified in recent community consultations. Keep an eye on the council’s My Coatbridge channels on Facebook and X for updates.
If you’d like to perform on the main stage, please contact Jonathan at coatbridgetownplan@northlan.gov.uk
