A new way to help local people and communities benefit from local opportunities is now up and running.
Council Leader Jim Logue and Communities Convener Councillor Geraldine Woods helped launch the Community Benefits Hub, connecting community groups with businesses across North Lanarkshire and the wider Glasgow City Region.
Councillor Geraldine Woods, Communities Convener, said: “The Community Benefits Hub is a great way to bring communities and businesses together and turn opportunities into something that makes a real difference locally. I’d encourage community groups and businesses across North Lanarkshire to get involved, register and see what they can offer or ask for.”
Community groups can post requests for goods, services or resources, while businesses can offer their support to local causes and projects.
