Provost Kenneth Duffy has presented a £454 donation to St Andrew’s Hospice from entry funds raised at the annual Santa Dash at Strathclyde Park.
The event took place on Sunday 7 December and saw runners of all ages pull on their Santa suits and take to the park for a good cause. The annual dash has become a firm festive favourite, bringing families, friends and local runners together for a feel-good event that supports an incredible local charity.
Provost Kenneth Duffy said: “This is a brilliant example of how a bit of festive fun can make a real difference. The Santa Dash is always a great day and knowing it helps support the incredible work done by St Andrew’s Hospice makes it even more special. A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped raise such a fantastic amount.”
Funds raised will support St Andrew’s Hospice in continuing to provide vital care and support to patients and families across the area when they need it most.
