Young people across North Lanarkshire are being encouraged to have their say by taking part in a new survey.
The community priorities survey gives young people the opportunity to share their views and help shape decisions that affect them and their communities.
To date more than 6,608 young people have taken part and feedback will be used to find out what matters most to them and how services and opportunities can continue to improve.
Speaking at the launch event at Bellshill Academy, Councillor Geraldine Woods, Convener of Communities explained: “It’s important that young people’s voices are heard – taking part is quick and easy. I hope that as many young people as possible take part and make their views count.
“Over the last few years, organisations in North Lanarkshire have been working with local people to make communities healthier, safer and better to live in.
“These organisations include the council, NHS, Police, Fire Service and local charities who are working together with residents to run projects and support what matters most in each area.
“We’re now planning for the next ten years, and we want to hear your ideas. Your answers will help decide what the priorities should be and how we can improve your community.”
