Pupils from across Lanarkshire showcased their talent at the 10th annual Schools Public Speaking Competition, hosted by the Lanarkshire Lieutenancy at Airdrie Town Hall.

Teams from Brannock High, Lanark Grammar, Our Lady’s High Cumbernauld, and Larkhall Academy delivered inspiring presentations on the theme “Citizenship in Our School and Our Community.”

Larkhall Academy was named the overall winner, impressing the judges with their thoughtful content, teamwork, and delivery. The event promotes active citizenship, inclusion, and an appreciation of cultural diversity, while helping pupils build confidence and communication skills.

Congratulations to all who took part in this inspiring celebration of young voices.
