The council-supported business manufactures a broad range of furniture and soft furnishing from their factory base  in Wishaw.

Derek said: “It was great to visit NL industries and meet the team. I was delighted to find out first hand about the excellent range of products they offer for our internal service, public sector and private sector partners. It is great to see our production line in action and to learn more about the high quality items being manufactured for our markets.”

Working alongside Supported Employment, North Lanarkshire Industries is a facility that includes a wide range of products and services including sofas, re-upholstery and soft furnishing.

These products are offered to the council and various external public and private organisations.

NL Industries is a fully established force in furniture production, assembly, refurbishment and maintenance.

They are a leading example of both commercial success and social responsibility.

And they make a positive contribution across communities by employing people with barriers who are fully trained to a high standard in all aspects of soft furnishings and re-upholstery production.
