Provost Kenneth Duffy joined the congregation of Condorrat Parish Church for a special service on Sunday to mark the church’s 150th anniversary.

To commemorate the milestone, Provost Duffy presented Session Clerk Kenneth MacKenzie with a commemorative vase on behalf of the council, joined by local councillors Ann Ballinger and William Goldie.

Provost Duffy said: "It was an honour to join the congregation of Condorrat Parish Church to celebrate such a remarkable milestone. For 150 years, this church has played a central role in the life of the community, a place of worship, support, and togetherness. We were proud to mark this occasion and thank everyone for their kind and warm welcome."

The service celebrated the church’s long-standing role at the heart of the Condorrat community and reflected on its rich history and continued contribution to local life.
