Scottish Parliament Election 2026 results

The results of the Scottish Parliament Election 2026 in North Lanarkshire are shown below.

Scottish National Party (SNP) candidate Neil Gray has been elected to serve as a Member of the Scottish Parliament in the Airdrie Constituency, following the election on Thursday 7 May. 

The number of votes polled for each candidate was:  

  • Euan Blockley, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party – 1,145
  • Neil Gray, Scottish National Party (SNP) – 10,711
  • John Jo Leckie, British Unionist Party and Abolish the Scottish Parliament Party - 441
  • Suzanne Marie MacLeod, Scottish Labour Party – 6,201
  • Brendan O’Donnell, Independent - 505
  • Graham Simpson, Reform UK – 5,821
  • Edward John Thornley, Scottish Liberal Democrats - 660

The total votes cast were 25,575 and the percentage poll was 46.93%. 91 ballot papers were rejected.

 

Scottish National Party (SNP) candidate Fulton James MacGregor has been elected to serve as a Member of the Scottish Parliament in the Coatbridge and Chryston Constituency, following the election on Thursday 7 May. 

The number of votes polled for each candidate was: 

  • Andy Bruce, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party – 1,109
  • Kieron Joseph Thomas Higgins, Scottish Labour Party – 7,682
  • Mandy Lindsay, Reform UK – 5,145
  • Fulton James MacGregor, Scottish National Party (SNP) – 14,458
  • Daniel Mancini, Scottish Liberal Democrats – 1,048

 The total votes cast were 25,595 and the percentage poll was 50.14%. 153 ballot papers were rejected.

 

Scottish National Party (SNP) candidate Jamie Hepburn has been elected to serve as a Member of the Scottish Parliament in the Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Constituency, following the election on Thursday 7 May. 

The number of votes polled for each candidate was:  

  • Keith Allan, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party – 1,129
  • Steve Grant, Reform UK – 4,580
  • Jamie Hepburn, Scottish National Party (SNP) – 13,787
  • William Brian Howieson, Scottish Liberal Democrats - 949
  • Alan McManus, Alliance to Liberate Scotland and Sovereignty - 226
  • James McPhilemy, Scottish Labour Party – 6,472

 The total votes cast were 27,249 and the percentage poll was 53.61%. 106 ballot papers were rejected.

 

Scottish National Party (SNP) candidate Clare Adamson has been elected to serve as a Member of the Scottish Parliament in the Motherwell and Wishaw Constituency, following the election on Thursday 7 May. 

The number of votes polled for each candidate was: 

  • Clare Adamson, Scottish National Party (SNP) – 11,962
  • Dominic James Alderson, Independent - 328
  • Bob Burgess, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party – 1,638
  • Ayeshah Khan, Scottish Labour Party – 6,447
  • Jenni Lang, Scottish Liberal Democrats - 979
  • Duncan MacMillan, Reform UK – 5,692
  • Greig Duncan McArthur, Alliance to Liberate Scotland for Independence - 298

 The total votes cast were 27,443 and the percentage poll was 47.44%. 99 ballot papers were rejected.

 

Scottish National Party (SNP) candidate Steven Bonnar has been elected to serve as a Member of the Scottish Parliament in the Uddingston and Bellshill Constituency, following the election on Thursday 7 May. 

The number of votes polled for each candidate was: 

  • Steven Bonnar, Scottish National Party (SNP) – 11,966
  • Meghan Gallacher, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party – 1,750
  • Mark Griffin, Scottish Labour Party – 8,382
  • George William Hobbins, Reform UK – 5,646
  • Ben Munnoch, Scottish Liberal Democrats – 1,094

The total votes cast were 28,967 and the percentage poll was 48.89%. 129 ballot papers were rejected.

 

Central Scotland and Lothians West Region

The candidates elected to serve as Members of the Scottish Parliament for the Central Scotland Region are:

  • Graham Simpson, Reform UK
  • Mark Griffin, Scottish Labour Party
  • Gillian Audrey MacKay, Scottish Green Party
  • Mandy Lindsay, Reform UK
  • Jenny Young, Scottish Labour Party
  • Meghan Gallacher, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party
  • Amanda Bland, Reform UK

The total number of votes polled for each party or candidate was:

Abolish the Scottish Parliament – 1,015

Advance UK - 494

Alliance To Liberate Scotland – 2,692

Independence for Scotland Party – 1,803

Independent Green Voice – 2,637

Reform UK – 58,334
