Young people receiving their exam results next week are being reminded that help is available, whatever their results.
Skills Development Scotland's (SDS) Results Helpline will be open from Tuesday 4 August to Friday 7 August to offer free, expert careers advice to learners, as well as their parents and carers.
The helpline can provide information and guidance on Confirmation and Clearing, college and university places, Foundation, Modern and Graduate Apprenticeships, jobs, volunteering and staying on at school.
Councillor Michael McBride, Convener of Education, said: "Results day can be an exciting but sometimes uncertain time for young people and their families. Whatever your results, it's important to remember that there are different routes to success and plenty of support available.
"I would encourage anyone who has questions about their next steps to speak to their school in the first instance or contact Skills Development Scotland."
The SDS Results Helpline is available on 0808 100 8000. It is open from 8am to 8pm on Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 August, and 9am to 5pm on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 August.
