The Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 (as amended) requires that each planning authority must appoint a Chief Planning Officer.
Our Chief Planning Officer is Lorna Bowden (MRTPI).

It is submitted to the Scottish Government annually and gives a balanced measurement of the overall quality of the planning service.
