A wide range of local organisations hosted information stalls, including CABIA, Airdrie Adult Learners Forum, Airdrie Citizens Advice Bureau, NLC Arts Development and Sport, Airdrie Community School Uniform Bank and Home-Start, alongside many other valued partners. These stalls gave residents the opportunity to learn more about the support and services available within their community.
Residents were also invited to take part in the Community Priorities Survey, helping to shape local priorities.
The event aimed to enhance the quality of life for local people by connecting residents with services that can support and enrich their lives. It also successfully fostered intergenerational connections, with young people actively involved in the planning and delivery of the event—helping to break down barriers and build meaningful relationships.
By bringing people together in a positive and inclusive environment, the event helped tackle social isolation and ensured that individuals felt valued, connected and supported.
The event was made possible through funding secured from the SPA Community Benefit Fund.
