We are aware of an issue that is preventing some online forms with maps from being submitted.

We are working to fix this as soon as possible.

Electrical product amnesty

Our Trading Standards team, in partnership with Electrical Safety First, is running a series of Unsafe Electricals Amnesty events to help residents identify and safely dispose of electrical items that may pose a risk.

Residents can bring potentially unsafe, recalled, damaged or poor quality electrical products including chargers, electric blankets, travel adaptors, four‑way block adaptors and other small electricals.

Items will be tested, and if found to be unsafe, can be exchanged for safer replacements or a voucher. Worn electric blankets will be replaced like for like.

These events support our wider campaign to raise awareness of unsafe goods and the hazards they may pose.

The next event is on Monday 2 February, between 10.00am and 2.00pm at the Buchanan Centre in Coatbridge.
