Coatbridge Pride in Place: Project Catalyst Fund 2026/27

Helping Turn Great Ideas into Deliverable Projects

The Coatbridge Neighbourhood Board: a community led regeneration partnership is delivering an ambitious ten-year Coatbridge Regeneration Plan with funding from the UK Government’s Pride in Place Programme.  On behalf of the Board, North Lanarkshire Council is pleased to announce the launch of the Coatbridge Project Catalyst Fund 2026-27.

Through this Fund, the Board will support community and third sector organisations to carry out project development work needed to turn ideas into deliverable projects for buildings, community facilities, public and green spaces in Coatbridge. Activities such as feasibility studies, design development, technical surveys, professional advice and community engagement work are eligible for the Fund.

What are the Fund’s Priorities?

The Fund will support ideas that will contribute to one or more of the following goals:

  1. More Opportunities for Young People: helping improve the health and wellbeing of Coatbridge’s young people and/ or helping to develop the skills and improving the life chances of Coatbridge’s young people.
  2. Invest in What We Have: providing improved opportunities to address local health inequalities and improving access to culture or sport facilities in Coatbridge.
  3. A Safe and Friendly Town Centre: helping support Coatbridge town centre to be the beating heart of the community, as a place where people can access local services and socialise together and as a place where local businesses can start up and thrive.
