Disability Confident Scheme
Before the Disability Confident scheme we had signed up to the Positive about Disabled People or Two Ticks symbol scheme.
This new Disability Confident Scheme aims to help employers employ and retain disabled people and those with health conditions.
As a Disability Confident Leader, we are:
- challenging attitudes towards disability
- increasing understanding of disability
- removing barriers to disabled people and those with long-term health conditions
- ensuring that disabled people have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations
