Information is a critical asset. We need it to deliver on the vision set out in The Plan for North Lanarkshire and the associated priorities detailed in the Programme of Work.
We use it to:
- deliver our services and operational activities
- carry out our statutory duties
- manage our internal business functions
- support democratic processes
- assure good governance
Information Asset Register
We maintain a register of all the data we store and process. This includes the following:
- A description of the information and its purpose.
- The legislative basis for processing it.
- Whether it is
- personal information
- a vital record
- available for reuse
