Pure and simple - water quality

Helping you maintain the quality of water in your home

There are a few steps you can take to help maintain the quality of the water within your home. You should regularly use the taps, shower and other water outlets within your home. If you have been away from home for a week or more you should:

  • run each tap for a minimum of two minutes

  • hold your shower head over the plug hole and turn on your shower for a minimum of two minutes

  • flush your toilet(s) twice with the lid down

The hot water should be set on your boiler at a temperature as close to 60C. Regularly clean your tap spouts and routinely clean your shower head a minimum of every three months.
