The School is located in a freestanding building, built in 1911 and situated in Viewpark, Uddingston.

Our Aim is to provide a consistent and stable environment in which we offer meaningful learning opportunities, thus allowing our pupils to achieve personal goals and meet their potential and become confident individuals equipped with the skills needed to succeed in the modern workplace.

The school is staffed by nine teachers; one classroom assistant, two ELO workers, one clerical worker, a janitor and a catering assistant.

Pupils in S1 and S2 follow a curriculum based on the Experiences and Outcomes from a Curriculum for Excellence with emphasis placed on literacy, numeracy and health and wellbeing.

Pupils in S3, S4 and S5 sit a range of nationally recognised qualifications at different levels including ASDAN, City and Guilds and SQA awards.

Classes have a maximum of six pupils, which are organised according to pupil age; however recognition is taken of ability and social skills.

The headmaster of Fallside is also responsible for line managing the educational component at the Newpark centre and Community Alternatives, more information about which can be found on the school's website.
