Pupils at St. Dominic’s Primary School are enjoying their new outdoor learning facilities thanks to community benefits delivered as part of our new council house building programme. 

Building work has officially started on the extension of Chryston High School, marked by a turf-cutting ceremony.

Talented local artist Gordon McLean is helping to create new attractions in Centenary Park in Airdrie with a series of stunning sculptures carved from tree stumps and trunks, following the damage caused by Storm Éowyn earlier this year, bringing new life and creativity to this much-loved green space.

Work is starting to transform the Watersports Centre at Strathclyde Country Park into a facility for the whole community, with space for health and wellbeing activity, small business start-ups and community use.
