A new play area has been officially opened in Bogside Park, Kilsyth.

We’ve improved the quality of our homes by investing more than £29m in the past year, our housing team generated £18.8m in benefits for tenants and we’ve built 460 new affordable homes, our best yearly performance to date.  

A recent inspection by Education Scotland praised Portland High School for its strong relationships with pupils and families and its success in preparing young people for further education and employment.

Education Scotland has given St Mary’s Primary School and Nursery Class in Cleland a positive report, praising its pupils' confidence, friendliness, and enthusiasm.

Hundreds of adults in North Lanarkshire have been supported to gain qualifications and develop essential numeracy skills to help them with everyday tasks involving numbers, such as managing money or being able to help with homework, thanks to a new initiative.
