In the Smart Hub Lanarkshire interactive ‘classroom’ school pupils quickly make the leap from handling a mobile phone, ipad or tablet, to programming a collaborative robot or cobot.

As well as supporting SMEs, the hub is working with our education service and schools over the next year, helping young people gain new skills and industry insights.

Hub delivery partners share a joint commitment to the STEM agenda and are working to help re-profile manufacturing as a technology-led, progressive industry sector and an attractive career option.
