Walk away from the winter blues

The winter months can often feel like a struggle. But it needn’t be that way. Come and join our free health walks.

They are a great way to beat the winter blues, catch some much-needed daylight and meet friendly folk whilst getting some gentle exercise done as well. Being outside in the fresh air and enjoying nature helps to boost your mood.

Health walks are easy, last no longer than an hour and go at a gentle pace. Most groups go for a cuppa after the walk.

Have a look on our web site for walks that take place in your area. Please book for your first walk by contacting getwalkinglanarkshire@northlan.gov.uk/ 07903 358424.

And to help you with your New Year’s resolutions, there will be a Big Wee Winter Stroll in Lesmahagow on Saturday 21 February, setting off at 1.30pm from The Fountain Hall. Booking is essential.
