The Getting It Right for Every Person’ (GIRFEP) A Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy for Lanarkshire (2019-2024) strategy is a shared vision developed by Health and Social Care North Lanarkshire (H&SCNL), NHS Lanarkshire (NHSL), South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership (SLH&SCP), members of the public, third sector organisations, and staff groups.

The Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland protects and promotes the human rights of people with mental illness, learning disabilities, dementia and related conditions.

The Office of the Public Guardian (Scotland) has a range of functions in relation to adults with incapacity.
