Have your say: Bellshill to Mossend Active Travel
An active travel route is planned between Bellshill Rail Station, via the town centre, and Mossend. This is part of the Eurocentral Active Travel links project and will link with another route planned between Holytown and Eurocentral.
We have looked at options for this route and have identified an emerging preferred option.
We assessed each option to find out:
- how direct it is
- how safe it is
- how accessible and easy to use it is
- how it affects the environment
- how well it connects to places and other path networks
- the cost of building it; and
- whether it can be built
The Story Map below provides detail on the options we looked at, the assessment that was done, the emerging preferred option and why this has been chosen.
