The information is for those whose property interests are affected by the North Lanarkshire Council (Blocks C, D and E Millcroft Road, Cumbernauld) Compulsory Purchase Order 2023.
Those affected will have received notices by letter direct to their registered addresses.
To support the Regeneration of Millcroft Road, in November 2021, the council approved the making of a Compulsory Purchase Order for the 168 privately owned properties at Millcroft Road.
The CPO was submitted to Scottish Government on 29 March 2023 for determination. The Scottish Government have received objections to the CPO and as such a Scottish Government Hearing will be held mid-April.
Following the Hearing the Scottish Government Reporter on behalf of the DPEA will submit a recommendation to the relevant Scottish Government Ministers who will determine the outcome of the CPO. All owners and residents will be kept updated throughout this process via North Lanarkshire Council.
