Rosevale Crescent Multi-Use Games Area
Creation of local Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) in Rosevale Crescent linking to Community Resilience and Participation.
How did it come about?
Consultation and engagement was carried out with local school pupils from Mossend Primary School and supported by the Parent Council.
What was the outcome?
The project contributes to the Local Outcome Improvement Plan action which aims to make the best use of shared assets and resources through coordination of local engagement activity and plans, by supporting the development of a capital project through Local Development Project resources.
The project, developed by the Community Partnership Team, and supported by Mossend Parent Council and local residents provides an essential upgraded sports facility in the Bellshill area. Designed by Kompan, the MUGA offers an enclosed games court for activities such as football and basketball.
