Shotts Community Priorities highlights 25/26

Salsburgh Community Engagement Day

The event provided an opportunity for local residents to share their views on a range of community priorities, including Local Outcome Improvement Plan outcomes and local development projects.

How did the project come about?

The community partnership attended the event and held a dedicated stall to raise awareness of the Local Development Programme and engage with local residents about community priorities. Residents were consulted through a survey about issues affecting them, and services and activities they would like to see within their community.

What was the outcome?

The survey was jointly developed with members of the Community Council to gather local views on community priorities and future development opportunities.

Through the stall, residents and community groups learned about available funding opportunities, as well as the range of projects and activities already taking place locally.
