Coatbridge Neighbourhood Board

As a condition of the UK Government's Plan for Neighbourhoods funding, a Neighbourhood Board must be established in each place to receive funding and to bring those with a connection to the area together. Coatbridge Neighbourhood Board was established in April 2024, initially known as Coatbridge Town Board. 

Coatbridge Neighbourhood Board members

The Coatbridge Neighbourhood Board members are:

  • Gavin Whitefield, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Lanarkshire (Chairperson)
  • Frank McNally MP, Coatbridge and Bellshill
  • Fulton MacGregor MSP, Coatbridge and Chryston
  • Yvonne Lindsay, Managing Director, Telecom Networks
  • Willie McBride, Manager, Kirkshaws Neighbourhood Centre and Coatbridge Community Board Chair
  • Liz McCutcheon, Chief Executive, Inspirent
  • Roddy Cameron, Proprietor, R. Cameron Jewellers
  • Lesley-Anne Docherty, Area Commander, Police Scotland
  • Gwen MacIntyre, Interim Service Manager for Coatbridge, NHS Lanarkshire
  • David Wood, Chief Executive, Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire
  • Professor Christopher Moore, Principal and Chief Executive, New College Lanarkshire
  • Cllr. Allan Stubbs, North Lanarkshire Council
  • Cllr. Geraldine Woods, North Lanarkshire Council
