Fairer Scotland Duty – Devices deployed originally through period of pandemic to children and families identified as having poverty related barrier resulting in digital exclusion.

- Cessation of this contract may result in a period of time where digital network access will be affected for families within their homes.
- Children and young people of 5-18 and care experienced young people will be the groups affected.
What actions / measures will be put in place or are planned to mitigate any adverse impact or promote equality?
- Interim period of communication to affected groups, signposting to alternative locations of free WiFi access.
- The device will remain with the young person who can continue its use to support learning.
- Reassessment of need.
- Engagement with council supplier for reduced number of MyFi devices for reissuing based on identified need.
