Housing: request a repair

Use this form to request a repair to your council house.

Before you start

If your repair is an emergency, do not use this form. Please phone the contact centre on 0800 6781 166

We do different types of repairs. All repairs are given a timed priority:

• Emergency works (danger to life, security or property) - three hours to attend.
• Right to repair (Government scheme for tenants to have small urgent repairs sorted by their landlord within a given time).
• Urgent works (all non-emergency work) - three working days.
• Routine works (all non-emergency work) - 20 working days.
• Repairs to empty/void houses (to bring the property up to a set standard) - three or 10 working days depending on the condition of the property.
