Red weather warning for Storm Eowyn - Friday 24 January 2025 – School Closures

A red weather warning has been issued for Friday 24 January 2025, between 10am and 5pm as Storm Éowyn is expected to bring very strong winds and widespread disruption.

All schools and education establishments will be closed on Friday 24 January. Further service updates will be provided.

We do different types of repairs. All repairs are given a timed priority:

  • Emergency works (danger to life, security or property) - three hours to attend.
  • Right to repair (Government scheme for tenants to have small urgent repairs sorted by their landlord within a given time).
  • Urgent works (all non-emergency work) - three working days.
  • Routine works (all non-emergency work) - 20 working days.
  • Repairs to empty/void houses (to bring the property up to a set standard) - three or 10 working days depending on the condition of the property.
