Newarthill Tree Lighting Project
A proposal was received from Newarthill Community Council looking for support to create lighting on trees at the ‘Welcome to Newarthill’ gateway sign.
This would help to brighten up the village and allow residents to enjoy the area which is next to the main road running through Newarthill and visible from all entrances and exits.
We engaged with the local community council to develop the lighting for the area and support them on the sequence of lighting throughout the year. As the autumn and then winter approaches, the lighting will become more visible during the darker evenings and bring colour to the area.
The aim of the project was to transform the natural environment to support wellbeing and enhance the area for future generations.
