The Community Partnership Team took the opportunity via invitation to attend the conference and use it as a means to engage with a wide audience. This allowed officers to actively engage with over 100 people who were tenants, residents, from partner organisations and other Council services from across North Lanarkshire, encouraging them to get involved with the Community Priorities survey and have their community voices heard.
Community voices, local insights and knowledge are vital to ensuring the refreshed Community Priorities (LOIPs) reflect the needs and aspirations of our communities.
The survey gives local people the opportunity to influence what happens in their communities and ensures that future plans reflect what matters most to residents.
