60+ card

How to apply for a 60+ card

The earliest you can apply for your 60+ National Entitlement Card one month before your 60th birthday.

Application forms for 60+ cards can also be collected and returned to any local post office or Strathclyde Passenger Transport (SPT) travel centre. There are no travel centres within North Lanarkshire although the mobile travel centre occasionally visits the area. Details are available on the SPT website.

In order to apply using the application form you will need to provide a recent passport-style colour photograph; current documentary evidence of your age, and proof of your current address. Full details of acceptable types of documentary evidence can be found on the front page of the application form.

If you require clarification on any aspect of the application process, please contact the SPT Travel Card unit.
