We operate six household waste recycling centres for North Lanarkshire residents. You must bring photo identification and proof of your address when you visit a site.
The sites are open seven days a week including some public holidays (closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day).
They are only licensed to accept domestic household waste and cannot accept commercial waste.

Opening hours
Airdrie, Bellshill, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld and Netherton centres are open Monday to Saturday, 7am to 6pm and Sunday, 7am to 5.30pm.
Shotts is open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm and Sunday, 8am to 5.30pm.
Last entry is ten minutes before closing time.
In order to improve recycling rates:
- we ask residents to help recycling by placing material in the appropriate designated skip or container
- recycling attendants will be on site to provide assistance
- only household waste will be accepted (no commercial)

Booking a van or trailer
If you intend to use a van or a single-axle trailer to transport waste to the site, you must book an book an appointment.
This is to make sure we comply with the conditions of our licence.
