Strathclyde Country Park lies in 400 hectares of countryside in the valley of the River Clyde. Set within beautiful surroundings, the park is one of the most popular family attractions in the central belt of Scotland, with thousands of visitors each year enjoying the vast range of activities and events on offer.

Ideally situated, with excellent road and public transport links, the park offers outdoor adventure playgrounds and watersports activities, including our popular family funboats. 

In partnership with the community we developed a new gateway to Strathclyde Country Park in Bellshill, which includes new wheeled sports facilities.

As part of a the wider Masterplan for the park we aim to develop an Art Park within Strathclyde Country Park over the next 10 years.
