A sod cutting signalled the start of our latest council housing project which will deliver 26 new homes for social rent at Thorn Road, Bellshill.  

School inspectors have praised St Bernadette's Primary School in North Motherwell for its strong leadership, teaching practices, and nurturing environment.

Pupils and staff from Cathedral Primary School in Motherwell, alongside families and parishioners, gathered for a special Mass in the school hall on Friday 31 January, the Feast of St John Bosco, to celebrate the opening of the school and to celebrate the parish and school’s 150th anniversary year.

Pupils and staff at Taylor High School celebrated after a recent report by Her Majesty's Inspectors (HMI) praised the school.
