How long it will take to discharge or vary planning conditions
Discharging planning conditions is a formal application process where details relating to an approved development can be considered and a decision made on their acceptability.
This process can take up to eight weeks from the receipt of a valid application.
How much it will cost and how to pay
A request to:
- vary planning conditions for applications submitted on or after 1 April 2022: £200 plus VAT (20%) (£240)
- confirm compliance and to discharge a planning condition for applications submitted on or after 1 April 2022: £100 plus VAT (20%) £120 per request
Only one fee is required for each request to confirm compliance and to discharge planning conditions. Each request can cover more than one planning condition on the same planning consent.
You can make a payment to our bank account. Please quote the application reference number and the address the application relates to.
Your application will remain invalid until the fee is received.
