North Lanarkshire Challenge
The North Lanarkshire Challenge is for young people aged 8 to 14 who live, or go to a school in North Lanarkshire.
There are four levels in the challenge
- Sapphire - to gain this challenge you must take part for 8 hours.
- Emerald - to gain this challenge you must take part for 10 hours.
- Ruby - to gain this challenge you must take part for 12 hours.
- Diamond - to gain this challenge you must take part for 15 hours.
In each level you will take part in four activities
- A service to help other people.
- A physical activity like a sport, game or keeping fit.
- Learn or get better at a skill.
- Go on an adventure.
The North Lanarkshire Challenge will help you gain confidence that you can do different things. It gives you a chance to work as part of a team and learn new skills. You will get a sense of personal achievement by working with others to help the community.
When you complete each level you will be awarded a certificate.
