If you're concerned about your child, another child or a young person - speak to someone.
This might be a health visitor, nursery staff, teacher, GP, social worker, police officer or member of staff from our social work locality offices.
You can also make contact with the Social Work Emergency Service at times when the locality office is closed in the evenings and on weekends by calling 0800 121 4114.
If the child is in immediate danger you should contact the police (999).
North Lanarkshire Child Protection Committee have alongside the Adult Protection Committee, Violence Against Women and Girls and MAPPA launched a new website: Public Protection North Lanarkshire.
This website aim to provide information on Public Protection issues including Child Protection, Adult Support and Protection and Violence Against Women and Girls.
The information within the website is aimed to children, young people, adults at risk, their families and carers as well as professionals.
It also provide information on events and training and other development opportunities.
