Airdrie Community Board endorsed and agreed the renewed actions and tasks for Airdrie Local Outcome Improvement Plan at the recent meeting on 4th June 2025. The new actions were identified at community consultation exercises hosted by Airdrie Action Partnership.
Airdrie Action Partnership is a collaborative network comprising of third sector organisations, North Lanarkshire Council's Community Partnership Team, Youthwork Team, NHS Health Improvement Team and Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire. As the designated sub-group for Airdrie, Airdrie Action Partnership is responsible for driving forward the actions and tasks outlined in the Local Outcomes Improvement Plan.
They held three consultation sessions in March/April 2025 to review and renew the tasks outlined under the 3 priorities in the Airdrie Local Outcome Improvement Plan which are Poverty, Health & Wellbeing plus Digital Inclusion.
The sessions had contributions from various organisations including the voices of young people, older people, disabled people and minority groups. The new tasks and activities identified at the consultation sessions were then grouped into general actions and a Microsoft Survey Form was produced and issued to members of the community board and Airdrie Action Partnership requesting members prioritise these tasks/actions.
Following agreement by Airdrie Community Board, Airdrie Action Partnership will work to progress the new actions and tasks as a collective, sharing knowledge, skills and resources until the full Local Outcome Improvement Plans are renewed in 2027.
