Viewpark volunteer community clean-up
Viewpark volunteer community clean-up is an example of community safety, which is a priority for Bellshill.
How did the project come about?
Volunteers from Viewpark Community Council and Police Scotland came together to do a community clean-up of the local area. Litter was collected and fly-tipping was cleared from the Viewpark area of Bellshill.
What was the outcome?
Many trash bags were filled, and large pieces of debris were collected and disposed of making the area cleaner and safer for the local community. Stronger community relations were built between the police and local members of the community.
