Community groups advised of the issues of antisocial behaviour caused by the use of off-road bikes and quad bikes in and around Motherwell, and Strathclyde park. CCTV and community intelligence was used during this period.
The project was to work as a group to help discourage antisocial behaviour and the use of off-road bikes in public parks, utilise community groups' quad bikes whilst using the Police drone to survey the local park.
An action plan detected several offences including offences for off-road vehicles and other crimes. The project is helping to reduce the criminal activity in the area and improving community safety for the local park-goers.
