This initiative is a budget proposal and if approved will set a target of 20% increase on income for the Muirfield Centre in Cumbernauld. The service will have to look at marketing for additional external work or increase current prices, which there is some restrictions to.
Give details of the impact it has on groups and individuals
FSS currently charge a number of small businesses for leasing office space within Muirfield Business Centre. The building currently holds space for a number of small external Businesses who currently reside in the Business Units. There is a high demand for space within the building and is managed well. Scope would be to increase prices in April in line with the current RPI rate and look at further expansion in the internal space within the unit to free up more space for leasing there for bringing in more income.
The exercise has been data-led, using information associated with how much work is required to be increase to meet the next two years with 20% increase year on year.

All measures/potential impact will be reviewed on the outcome of the committee decision to understand if any further action is required.
