Next steps and timeline
The project will be delivered as part of the Glasgow City Region City Deal.
This is a large and complex project that will take several years to complete and will be delivered in different phases. This will ensure the new infrastructure is delivered when it's needed, while also ensuring investment in the development of the masterplan is maintained and the our financial commitment is managed alongside its many priorities.
The first thing we have done is create a new railway bridge that the road will go under and connect with Ravenscraig.
