Red weather warning for Storm Eowyn - Friday 24 January 2025 – Service Updates

A red weather warning has been issued for Friday 24 January 2025, between 10am and 5pm as Storm Éowyn is expected to bring very strong winds and widespread disruption.

All schools and education establishments will be closed on Friday 24 January and bin collections are suspended. Further service updates can be found here.

North Lanarkshire Council (Ravenscraig Access Infrastructure South) Compulsory Purchase Order 2022

Following confirmation of this Compulsory Purchase Order by Scottish Ministers in May 2023, the General Vesting Declaration (GVD) has now been executed. The General Vesting Declaration specifies the Vesting Date – which is the date on which the properties will be acquired by the council – as 10 October 2023.

The information on this page is for those whose land interests are affected by the North Lanarkshire Council (Ravenscraig Access Infrastructure South) Compulsory Purchase Order 2022.

Those affected will have received notices by letter direct to their registered addresses.
