Abronhill Primary School - Family Information Event
The Community Partnership Team organised an event at for parents and carers of children attending Abronhill Primary School to address the Cumbernauld Local Outcome Improvement Plan Priorities of Food and Financial Insecurity, Targeted Action for priority areas and Communication and Engagement
Held after the school’s Sport Day, the event provided over 150 families with access to valuable information and identified support from relevant local organisations.
Participating organisations included Community Partnership Team, Staff at Abronhill Primary School, Cornerstone House, Cumbernauld Pet Pantry, Cumbernauld Poverty Action, One Parent Family Scotland, Barnardo’s Families Here and Now Service, North Lanarkshire Young Carers, Abronhill Parish Church, North Lanarkshire Period Dignity, and NHSL Health Improvement Team.
As well as the advice and support provided by these organisations, the Community Partnership Team distributed more than 200 Period Dignity products during the event and referred more than 20 families to other services for support.
