Youth Volunteering Event – St Maurice’s High School - Cumbernauld Young People
Community Partnership Team attended the event and engaged with approximately 46 young people from Kilsyth, Cumbernauld and Moodiesburn areas at Volunteering Event that took place in St Maurice’s High School on Friday 21st November.
The event took the form of a marketplace where a range of organisations were able to engage with young people about potential opportunities available to them.
The Community Partnership Team engaged with young people and discussed Community Boards, Local Outcome Improvement Plans and Local Development Programme.
Young people engaged well in discussions, provided suggestions for potential Local Development Programme projects and some also completed the Local Outcome Improvement Plan online consultation at the event.
Young people from Cumbernauld put forward a range of suggestions for potential projects. These ideas will be looked into in relation to potential development of Local Development Programme projects
