As result of consultation processes, outdoor gym projects have been identified and delivered in Auchinloch, Cardowan and Moodiesburn areas.
Installation of these outdoor facilities complement other completed Local Development Programme projects in each area, including the creation of skate park, Multi-Use Games Area and play facilities.
As a result, the project also produced several positive outcomes for local people. Facilities have helped promote both the physical and mental health of adults and children alike, whilst providing leisure options in communities that are free to access.
