Solar Lights Projects
This project contributed to Northern Corridor Community Health Inequalities and Children & Young People Local Outcome Improvement Plan (LOIP) priorities by improving community safety concerns in the Millerston, Chryston and Cardowan areas.
As result of consultation processes, completed projects have complemented other Local Development Programme projects previously carried out locally, including creation of new play park and Multi-Use Games Area facilities that also addressed LOIP priorities previously mentioned.
New solar light installations have helped local people feel safer and less vulnerable in their own communities, including both young and older people.
