My World of Work Live is part of Skills Development Scotland, the national skills and careers agency.
What do we do?
MyWoW Live is a programme of fun, interactive activities that help young people understand possible future careers. Using the latest technology, the activities help young people identify their skills and learn about the world of work, the key sectors and what jobs Scotland will need in the future.
What is our session about?
Drones in Construction = this activity has been designed in partnerships with Balfour Beatty. It is a practical, interactive session where pupils will learn how to fly a drone and discover how they are used in the construction sector.
What will you gain from attending?
Pupils will gain experience handling drones and find out how they are used in the construction sector as part of new emerging technology. Understand and appreciate their own range of skills and how these can be aligned to the world of work.
